The market in July

The pace in Walnut Creek eased a little in July. Detached homes took a median of about 16 days to reach an accepted offer, a couple of days longer than in June, and active listings rose to 54 from 49. The median sale price settled to about $1,547,500, down about 5% from June. Homes are still selling right around their asking price, so this looks like a market finding a steadier pace rather than one losing ground.
